1. Backup all important data to the floppy disk, CD or Thumbdrive. You can also create a backup using Norton Ghost image to the HDD or the CD.

2. Download software to create web pages from LLF HDD manufacture your product. Below I list 4 of the most popular brand HDD:

3. Then, install one of the LLF in this software to floppy disk.

4. Restart your computer and diskettes bootkan with the LLF.

5. Format your HDD according to instructions provided. Time that should be taken during the LLF is dependent on the capacity HDD itself.

6. When ready HDD LLF then you will look like new out of the factory. Then, you can re-install your HDD with the OS you prefer or you can Ghost the image data that has been dibackup.
